1. Bodh Gaya where is bodh Gaya ? Bodh Gaya is a religious site in Gaya district of Indian state of Bihar. Bodh Gaya is situated in southern part of Bihar in the bank of falgu or niranjana river. Valmiki National Park  is a tiger reserve  in the west champaran  of Bihar, India.  It is the only national park in Bihar.   Valmiki Tiger Reserve covers 898.42 km 2  , which is 17.3% of the total geographical area of the district. As of 2018, there were 40 tigers in the Reserve . History of Valmiki National Park The extensive forest area of Valmikinagar or  Bhainsa Lotan  was previously owned by the Betiyah raj  and Ramanagar Raj until the early 1950s.  It was declared a Wildlife Sanctuary in 1978. Valmiki National Park was established in the year 1990. Total area of the park is about 335.65 Km2. It is a residual oxbow lake, formed due to meandering of Burhi Gandak river, a tributary of Ganga, in the geological past. Kanwar jheel is located in bihar is Asia's largest fresh water oxbow lake.
